A. Betances (a.k.a Masbuskado in the Modding Community) founder, creator and designer of all that is New Mod City. His experience as a Case Modder started at the tender age of 15 with his first PC a Tandy 1000 in 1991. His extensive creativity and rough handling of spray paint led him to make custom themes PC for friends and family including such as Military Theme, Black and Red Painted PC back in 1996.

His wide passion for design led him to create an endless number of projects for his friends through the years. It was not until 2006 where he decided to incorporate what he learned in his career as a Graphic Designer and combine that with Computer Modification (Case Modding) his first global Modding project was AirSupreme I and was publish on his own page called www.masbuskado.com at that time where he published works such as AirSupreme I and DARKNIGHT but his great vision led him in another direction and the idea of New Mod City was born.

In the summer of 2008 after having participated in his first Case Modding Competition on Overclock.net with the project The Xicle, entering the intermediate category and then moved to the PRO category and winning the Second Place in the competition he decided to revive the New Mod City idea and take it to another level. The first thing he did was separate masbuskado (the modder) and New Mod City as two different entities creating a Modding Channel on YouTube and adding watermarks to all his project images so they can be easily identified in the modding community.

In January 2009 he decided to incorporate New Mod City as a legit business organization. In May 2009 he launches www.newmodcity.com with the idea to help, inform and make life easier for all case modders around the world.  He is well supported by his wife, mom and daughter, behind a good man are always 3 great women.

Among his plans were to create channels in the real world so that modders can use them. Among them we can cite the New Mod City Magazine, the New Mod City Forum, the New Mod City YouTube channel and soon a 24/7 Live Stream Channel.

New Mod City's goal is to bring the modding to every corner of our planet and let all know that is a new form of urban expression where youth from different countries are expressing both their ability to create and their work in the form of art.  We want to present this New Art Form that all the "modders" are creating to the Whole Wide World.
